Yes, the name of the town is silly and dumb. Especially since part of my name is included in it, which I am sure is a subject of much ridicule.

Snobs and Snobettes

I've got some juicy secrets lined up, though no one is reading this.
I've been hanging around Emma Birch, and shameless as I may seem, I've begun to dig out a few of her secrets. Though, I won't stoop to the level that I'd actually expose them! I'll probably use them as later threats, or blackmailing devices. Secrets come in handy sometimes, you know?
Also, I've approached Chace about joining the school journalism club, and he accepted; anyway, the Journalism Club is lacking members and they are actually desperate for anyone - even Locker Lolly, who bangs his head on lockers for entertainment.
The Hibernation Ball, as Annaville calls it, is coming up in two weeks, just before winter. Of course, I have plans and excuses on why I should not go, but I'm pretty sure my Mother has some witty retorts of her own. That said, I'd have to find a date to go with or my social life is doomed, especially if anyone catches me posting this on the Internet.
Brenda Simmons has also been paired with George Humphrey in English class for an assignment together, and I expected her to sulk and be glum all day long. However, when Miss Crane (yes, that actually is her name) said out the news, I thought I saw a glimmer of happiness in Brenda's eyes, but when I looked back, she was staring out the window. At what? I don't know for sure... Birds? Owls? Moths?
Do I smell a little scandal brewing here, especially since Dan Grey has his arm tighter around Brenda's slim frame?
However, Dan Grey himself has also been spotted flirting with other girls uptown, and that is a big no-no, especially with the ball coming up so soon. Who knows? Brenda might ditch Dan for Locker Lolly or George, and Dan might never be able to show his face again.
